Youth Corps Volunteering 2024

One of the volunteers that I had done was with children from Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore. I was attached with the Youth Corps group, Project Pals, where I had to assists in setting up and engaging the children with exciting and engaging activities.

I was the head of the adminstrative team, where I did works of planning the different activities, ensuring we are within budgeting, marketing the event via social media. In this volunteering journey, this event broaden up my perspective on life. The main purpose of this camp was to help those in need back during the Ramadan period. It was heartwarming to see youths alike taking up their time to give back to society by helping the needy.

I volunteered for a Charity Car Wash where the purpose the event was to do a car wash and all payments will be proceeded to a charity to help those in need. As a volunteer, I had to be confident and be clear in my communication regarding the event when car drivers decide to go for the car wash.
